BEHIND THE LENS
Njelama Dacas is a recent graduate of Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts and holds her Bachelor in Fine Arts in Dance Performance. She hails from Brooklyn, New York and is a current EdM candidate who spent her junior year studying abroad at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, United Kingdom.Also during her Undergraduate years she has served as a movement and workshop instructor at the Rutgers Summer Dance Camp and Conservatory. During her studies she has gained experience in dance pedagogy, dance technique, history, choreographic and improvisational skills, and kinesiology. She has also been privileged enough to perform works by Keith Thompson, David Parker(The Bang Group), Kendra Portier and Marina Collard.
